Requirements for Your Nikah
To help us prepare for your Nikah, please ensure the following information and documents are available when making your booking.
Identification

Passport or driving licence for both the bride and groom.

Full names and addresses of two male Muslim witnesses.
Mahr (Haq Mehr)

Nikah Administration Fee
A £300 administration fee applies for Nikah ceremonies held at Madinat Al Zahra. If you would like the Nikah to take place at another venue, please contact us to discuss availability and any applicable charges.

Can the Nikah take place outside the mosque?
Yes. Subject to Imam availability, Nikah ceremonies can also be conducted at another suitable venue.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend contacting us as early as possible to secure your preferred date.
Will guidance be provided before the ceremony?
Yes. Our Imams are happy to answer your questions and guide you through the Nikah process.
